Starshadow's. . . shadow.

As Starshadow padded from the medicine cat den, she headed toward the fresh- kill pile to sate the clenching pain in her belly. Her ears flicked back. Someone was walking right behind her. With small uneven steps, like they were really tired. . . Starshadow stopped her trek and sighed. "Twigkit, why are you following me? Surly you have a ball of moss you can bat at, why do you have to follow me?" When no annoying reply came, Starshadow turned. Her follower was diffinetly Twigkit, yet he didn't seem to be awake. His eyes were glazed and only half open, his nose was runny but it looked less irritated. He was sleepwalking. Starshadow smiled and shook her head. Then, leaning forward, she began wispering in Twigkit's ear. "Twigkit. Repeat everything I say, exactly as I say it. Do you understand?" Twigkit nodded. "Ok. . .no don't repeat that. . .oh, stop! Now, Starshadow is the greatest. She is ten, no- twenty times better than me. I will be never be as good as her. . . ." Starshadow began to laugh. Then, feeling that he was tortured enough, she nudged him softly in the direction of the nursery. Turning once again, she picked out a small bird from the pile and went to find a nice patch of sun to eat it in.

OOC: I know, Starshadow can be kind of mean. But don't worry, Twigkit will get his revenge. . .and Starshadow isn't always mean to him. Ha!
